Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal footwear which rationally has the functions of fitting properties to animal feet, anti-falling off and anti-slip properties in animal footwear. SOLUTION: The animal footwear comprises a base material selected from an elastic nonwoven fabric, an elastic film and a composite of the elastic nonwoven fabric and the elastic film, in each of which elongation at break is 200% or more, the 100% elongation recovery factor is 70% or more and the coefficient of static friction is 0.5 or more. The method for producing animal footwear comprises cutting and adhering through melting a superposition of two sheets of base materials selected from elastic nonwoven fabric, elastic film and a composite of the elastic nonwoven fabric and the elastic film, in each of which elongation at break is 200% or more, the 100% elongation recovery factor is 70% or more and the coefficient of static friction is 0.5 or more.
