Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment detergent composition suitable for washing a plastic container without performing immersion operation and further having reduced foaming when put into an automatic container washer. SOLUTION: The pretreatment detergent composition includes: 1-40 wt.% of an alkali agent; 0.1-10 wt.% of a chelating agent; and a 6-10C aliphatic carboxylic acid and/or an aliphatic carboxylate of the aliphatic carboxylic acid in the amount of 0.1-10 wt.% as the total of the aliphatic carboxylic acid and the aliphatic carboxylate.
