PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club that can enhance spinning performance while restraining a ball from damaging. SOLUTION: A head 2 includes face lines 8 whose depth is D1 (mm). With the section lines of the surfaces of the face lines 8, the boundaries between the face lines 8 and the land area LA are points Pa; the point whose depth is [D1/4] (mm) is a point Pb; the point whose depth is [D1/2] (mm) is a point Pc; the point whose depth is [(D1)×(3/4)] (mm) is a point Pd; the radius of a circle CL1 that passes the three points (point Pa, point Pb and point Pc) is R3 (mm); the straight line that passes the point Pc and the point Pd is a straight line Lcd; the straight line perpendicular to the land area LA is a straight line Lp; and the angle between the straight line Lcd and the straight line Lp is θm.
