Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve in which a flow volume is adjustable and the whole of the valve is restricted in height. SOLUTION: A valve 1 includes a valve rod 2 mounted with a valve body 50 at its one end, a female-threaded yoke sleeve 3 screwed together with a male screw groove threaded around the valve rod 2, and a handle 4 for rotating the yoke sleeve 3, and is opened and closed by moving the valve rod 2 and the valve body 50 up and down by rotating the handle 4. In the valve 1, travel restricting means 61, 62 for restricting the traveling in a direction to close the valve by impinging on the yoke sleeve 3 are fixed to the valve rod 2 and besides the handle 4 is provided with a housing hole 43 for housing the travel restricting means 61, 62 moving up and down.
