Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for constructing a reinforced downward discharging hood (20) for a steam turbine (100). SOLUTION: The double-wall side wall (end wall) (110) of the downward discharging hood (20) includes an outer corrugated wall (130) jointed with the inner plate wall (120). The high strength obtained by the corrugated section reduces the transformation of the downward discharging hood (20) and enables reducing the structural complexity inside the downward discharging hood and improving aerodynamic capability.
