TRANSPARENT SOLID SOAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent solid soap slight in skin irritancy, hard in disintegration by dissolution, and good in foaming and use feeling. SOLUTION: The transparent solid soap is composed of saturated fatty acid salts, with acidic amino acids or salts thereof. The formulated molar ratio of the saturated fatty acid salts over the acidic amino acids or salts thereof is 6/4-3/7 and base pairs to the carboxy groups of saturated fatty acids consisting of the saturated fatty acid salts, are composed of alkali metals and basic amino acids. The saturated fatty acids consisting of the saturated fatty acid salts include (A) 15-35 wt.% of lauric acid, (B) 45-75 wt.% of myristic acid, (C) 5-20 wt.% of palmitic acid, and (D1) 10-25 wt.% of hydroxy saturated fatty acids or (D2) 3-10 wt.% of branched saturated fatty acids, wherein ä(A)+(B)+(C)}+ä(D1) or (D2)} does not exceed 100 wt.%.
