Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepreg giving composite materials having excellent impact resistance, simply and easily producible, and excellent in surface tackiness retentivity. SOLUTION: There are provided a prepreg comprising constituent [A] which is a reinforcing fiber comprising, constituent [B] being a matrix resin and constituent [C] which is a short fiber of a thermoplastic resin having 10-25 mm fiber length and is localized near the one side or both side surface layers, and a production method for the prepreg comprising impregnating the constituent [B] in the constituent [A] to obtain a base prepreg, then, spraying the constituent [C] on the base prepreg, and heating and pressing to produce.
