Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing compound exhibiting excellent surface tension-lowering performance even in a low concentration, a fluorine-containing surfactant composed of the compound, and a surfactant composition containing the surfactant and an aqueous medium. SOLUTION: The fluorine containing compound is represented by formula (1) wherein Rf is a 1-6C perfluoroalkyl group; Ak1-Ak4are each independently a 1-6C alkylene group; Z is a sulfur atom or an oxygen atom; R1is a hydrogen atom or a 1-4C alkylene group; R1is a hydrogen atom or a 1-4C alkyl group; R2and R3are each independently a 1-4C alkyl group or a 1-4C hydroxyalkyl group; and R1and R2may together form a ring.
