ADHESIVE BINDING BOOKBINDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive binding bookbinding machine which improves the adhesive strength between papers by making enough paste permeate between the papers from the end face of the back of text pages so that the bookbinding quality of a booklet can be improved. SOLUTION: When the text pages 8 arrives at pressurizing mechanisms 23a, 23b after the back of the text pages 8 is flatly cut by a milling blade 22, pressing disks 32a, 32b rotate while pressing the surface of the text pages in a position within 10 mm from the end face of the back of the text pages 8. Thereby, papers are bent with a pressurizing position as a fulcrum by pressurizing force with the pressing disks 32a, 32b of projecting shape, and gaps are formed between the papers on the back side. Therefore, a paste permeates enough between the papers on the cover side on pasting in a pasting part of the following step, whereby a booklet strong against opening thereof is obtained since the adhesive strength is improved.
