PRODUCT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and rapidly respond to complaints to a product while totally managing the product from production to disposal. SOLUTION: The product management system 10 includes at least a product database 12 accumulating a record formed for each product to be shipped; a search unit 110 which searches the database; an input/output unit 111 which inputs and outputs information to/from the database; a communication unit 112 which connects to a computer provided in a base point through a network; and a storage unit 113 storing information received through the network. The record constituting the product database 12 has at least a product number individually assigned to each product and physical distribution information showing locations of the product from shipping to disposal thereof as data items. The system individually manages physical distributions of products based on the content input in the computer provided in the base point and recorded in a field of physical distribution information through the communication unit 112 and the input/output unit 111.
