COMPUTER MOUSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single portable terminal that combines a computer mouse and a fingerprint scanner. SOLUTION: The computer mouse includes: a housing having hollow for receiving a finger of a user; a control module which is installed inside the housing and performs detection of signals and control of signal transmission; and a fingerprint scanning module which includes a fingerprint scanner installed inside the hollow of the housing and is coupled to the control module for detecting fingerprints and transmitting fingerprint signals to the control module. The side view of the hollow may be of a closed ring shape (e.g. english character "D") or an open ring shape (e.g. english character "C"). COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
