Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of securing a high contrast ratio and a wide viewing angle of a liquid crystal display device, increasing a response speed of liquid crystal molecules, and having a high aperture ratio as well as preventing crosstalk defects due to increase in a parasitic capacitance between a signal line and a pixel electrode, thereby exhibiting good display characteristics. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal layer interposed between a first substrate and a second substrate and containing liquid crystal molecules; a gate line which transmits a gate signal; a first data line and a second data line which respectively transmit a first data voltage and a second data voltage with opposite polarities to each other; a first switching element connected to the gate line and the first data line; a second switching element connected to the gate line and the second data line; and a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode connected to the first switching element and the second switching element, respectively. The first pixel electrode overlaps the first data line and the second data line, the second pixel electrode overlaps the first data line and the second data line, the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode include a plurality of branch electrodes, and the branch electrodes of the first pixel electrode and the branch electrodes of the second pixel electrode are alternately arranged.
