Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for measuring and controlling a clearance between a rotor and a peripheral casing structure. SOLUTION: A rotary machine such as a gas turbine 10 includes an active rotor alignment clearance control system of separately arranging a plurality of actuators 30 around one or more of rotor shaft bearings 50. The actuators are constituted so that the bearing is eccentrically displaced to a fixed outside casing structure 26, that is, a rotor shaft 19 in a similar way. A plurality of sensors are separately arranged around a part of the casing structure 26, and measure a parameter of indicating eccentricity when the rotor 18 rotates in the structure. A control system for communicating with the sensors and the actuators 30 is constituted for controlling the actuators so as to eccentrically displace the rotor 18 by moving the shaft bearings 50 for correcting the eccentricity detected between the rotor and the casing structure.
