VEHICLE ROOM LIGHTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle room lighting system for producing a sufficient quantity of light when taking a look at hand without giving a feeling of glare to a user when using a mirror in a sun visor. SOLUTION: In the case of makeup using a mirror (a vanity mirror) 4 installed in the sun visor 5, if the output of a light source is greater, a unpleasant feel is given by glare and the makeup is not well done by dazzle. On the other hand, in the case of using the mirror 4 in the sun visor, if no visual line is on the approximately normal line of the mirror, the face is not mirrored. Focusing on the point that the visual line is always on the approximately normal line of the mirror, the output of a light source (a light emitting part 10) is adjusted for reducing the quantity of light in a specified region to reduce the glare. The glare depends on the quantity of light in the direction of a visual line and so the feeling of glare is not given from light in the other direction. As a result, the output of the light source installed near the mirror is reduced in the direction of the visual line to increase the light in the other direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
