TRANSFORMER AND CHOKE COIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer and a choke coil capable of reducing eddy current loss effectively in a simple structure without complicating the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A center gap 6 is formed making the central leg 3a of a core body 1a come face to face with the central leg 3b of a core body 1b. Meanwhile, side gaps 7 and 8 are formed making the side legs 4a and 5a of the core body 1a come face to face with the side legs 4b and 5b of the core body 1b, respectively. The gap length (gs) of both side gaps 7 and 8 are configured to be greater than the gap length (gc) of the center gap 6 (gs>gc). COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
