INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND VIDEO RECORDING/REPRODUCING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing method and an information processing system for charging each user, and for providing content from a server in a simple operation. SOLUTION: The information processing method in a system having a server 3, a portable communication terminal 2 and a video recording/reproducing device 1 includes: a step in which the portable communication terminal 2 transmits its unique terminal identification information to the video recording/reproducing device 1 in a format receivable by the video recording/reproducing device 2; a step in which the video recording/reproducing device 2 stores the received unique terminal identification information; a step in which the video recording/reproducing device 1 transmits the unique video equipment identification information and the unique terminal identification information through the Internet 4 to the server 3; a step in which the server 3 stores the unique video equipment identification information and the unique terminal identification information received from the video recording/reproducing device 1; and a step in which the portable communication equipment 2 transmits its unique terminal identification information though a portable telephone network 5 to the server 3.
