METHOD OF MONITORING AND CONTROLLING POWER GENERATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide monitoring and controlling, in the event that a permanent computer of a power generation monitoring and controlling system stops functioning or fails, until the function of the permanent computer is recovered, regarding monitoring and control for which only a short period of unmonitorable time is permitted because of operational and regulatory restrictions. SOLUTION: The power generation monitoring and controlling system 1 includes a permanent computer 10, a PLC device 20n, a field device 30n, a display operation unit 40n, and a network 50. The permanent computer 10 causes the display operation unit 40n to display device information coming from the field device 30n, and allows the input of operation information based on a touch operation that an operator performs on a screen of the display operation unit 40n. In the event that the permanent computer 10 stops functioning or fails, a temporary computer 60 is connected to the generation monitoring and controlling system 1, thereby it is made possible to transfer signals indicating the device information and limited operating information between the temporary controller 60 and the field device 30n to perform part of the monitoring and controlling of the field device 30n.
