MICROCAPSULE, SHEET AND DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING ELECTROPHORESIS, AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcapsule in which electrophoretic particles can move smoothly for a long period, to provide an electrophoresis display sheet which include the microcapsule and can maintain superior display performance over a long period, and to provide an electrophoresis display and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The microcapsule 40, as shown in Fig.3, includes an electrophoretic dispersion liquid 10 containing the electrophoretic particles 5 and a capsule body 50, in which the electrophoretic dispersion liquid 10 is charged. The capsule body 50 is made of a polymer, containing a resin material having a nonpolar group 51, substantially having no polarity, at least nearby an internal wall surface, on a side chain. The nonpolar group 51 is preferably an alkyl group and/or an alkyl fluoride group, such that fluorine atoms are substituted for at least some of hydrogen atoms of an alkyl group.
