DEVELOPING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which suppresses a toner which is not sufficiently charged from being supplied to a developing roller without imparting excessive stress to a developer in the developing device, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the developing device. SOLUTION: The developing device 2 includes: a developing tank 111; a first conveying path P and a second conveying path Q in which developers are conveyed; a first conveying member 112 and a second conveying member 113 for conveying the developer while stirring it; a developing roller 114; and a toner replenishing port 115a for replenishing toner. In the developing device 2, a rotary shaft 112b and a first spiral blade 112aa and a second spiral blade 112ab provided on the periphery of the rotary shaft 112b are provided as the first conveying member 112, a stirring member 118 which can rotate coaxially with the first conveying member 112 and independently of the first conveying member 112 is provided in a lower part of the toner replenishing port 115a, and a spiral ring blade 118a is provided on the periphery part of the second spiral blade 112ab as the stirring member 118.
