TEMPERATURE REGULATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in an existing temperature regulation apparatus that the operation of a compressor is liable to become unstable when a set temperature is changed considerably or when an air or water temperature drops in winter. SOLUTION: A temperature regulation apparatus includes a three-way proportional valve 20 for distributing a hot heat medium discharged from a compressor 18 to a heating means and a cooling means, a heat pump means for supplying a cold heat medium that is an adiabatically expanded and cooled heat medium cooled and condensed by heat dissipation in the heating means to absorb heat from an external heat source, and a control part 22 having a temperature regulation part for controlling the three-way proportional valve 20 to regulate the temperature of an air flow passing through the heating means and the cooling means. A condensation means provided in the cooling means comprises a water-cooled condenser 26 whose cooling source is water, and the heat pump means comprises a heat absorber 32 whose heating source is air. The control part 22 further has a liquid backflow prevention part for regulating an air quantity supplied to the heat absorber 32 so as to prevent a liquid backflow phenomenon in which a liquefied heat medium is supplied to the compressor 18.
