Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding device reduced in size and capable of improving the efficiency of the folding work of a sheet body. SOLUTION: The folding device includes: a mounting block 52 for mounting an index card 100 that is foldable at a fold part 103c applied with the folding processing of the index card 100; a fixing mechanism 53 for fixing one end 101a of the index card 100; an wall-like member 54 for supporting the other end 101b of one face 100a of the index card 100 and spacing the fold part 103c from the mounting block 52; a first gas blow-out part 56a for blowing gas from the mounting block 52 of the other face 100b of the index card 100 toward a spaced part 104; and a second gas blow-out part 56b for blowing gas toward the other end 101b side part of the face 100a that is folded over at the fold part 103c by gas blowing using the first gas blow-out part 56a.
