Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower body structure used in a sliding door vehicle having slidable side doors and simplifying and improving moldability and assembling performance without impairing sealing performance between the floor panel and the side sills. SOLUTION: A floor panel 9 of the lower body structure is spaced downward from a rail-accommodating recessed portion 43. A joint 49 joined to the floor panel 9 is set under a side sill inner 41 to overlap the rail-accommodating recessed portion 43 in a planar view. A support member 211 is mounted between and joined to the rail-accommodating recessed portion 43 and the floor panel 9 so that the recessed portion 43 is located on the top surface of the support member, thus supporting the rail-accommodating recessed portion 43.
