RAILROAD VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad vehicle having a link type vehicle body inclining device with small displacement of the center of gravity of a vehicle body. SOLUTION: The railroad vehicle has a vehicle body inclining device in which an inclined beam 11 is oscillatingly supported by a link mechanism formed in a symmetric manner in the right-to-left direction between truck frames, and the vehicle body mounted on the inclined beam is inclined by the oscillation in the right-to-left direction of the inclined beam 11. In the vehicle body inclining device, a link mechanism has a supporting link 15 of a straight shape having a supporting point in its intermediate part, a suspension link 16 of a straight shape with one end thereof being connected to the support link, and a guide link 17 of a straight shape with one end thereof being connected to an end of the support link opposite to the suspension link across the supporting point, and connected between a truck frame and the inclined beam 11 by the links 15, 16, 17. When the inclined beam 11 is in a horizontal condition, the support link 15 is arranged in a substantially vertical manner, the suspension link 16 is arranged so as to be inclined in a V-shape in the right-to-left direction, and the guide link 17 is arranged in a substantially horizontal manner.
