RETRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user in a remote place of an abnormality of an uninterruptible power supply device provided in a reception device by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A reception device 2 receives television broadcast signal and supplies the received television broadcast signal to a transmission device 4 via optical connection line equipment 5, and the transmission device 4 retransmits the supplied television broadcast signal. The reception device 2 includes a reception-side power source part 18 and a charge/discharge monitoring circuit 52 for supplying a detection signal to the transmission device 4 via the optical connection line equipment 5 in response to detect an abnormality of a battery 24 in the reception-side power source part 18. The transmission device 4 includes an LED 84 for outputting an abnormality on the basis of a transmission-side abnormality detection signal and an antenna 82 for retransmitting the transmission-side abnormality detection signal.
