SOLUTION: An optical transmission module 1 includes a laser element mounting substrate 22 on which a laser element 20 is mounted and a line connected to the laser element 20 is formed, a stem 24 supporting the laser element mounting substrate 22, a driving circuit element 16 including a driving circuit for driving the laser element 20, a block 18 supporting the driving circuit element 16, and a conductor 34 connecting the laser element mounting substrate 22 to the driving circuit element 16, wherein an arrangement interval between the stem 24 and block 18 is made wider than an arrangement interval between the laser element mounting substrate 22 and driving circuit element 16.
