FILLING CONTAINER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner container which can be gripped, and can increase its capacity. SOLUTION: The container body part 2 for storing the toner therein includes a first part to be engaged 21 and a second part to be engaged 24. A cap 3 includes an engagement part 32 which engages with the first part to be engaged 21 or the second part to be engaged 24. On condition that the container has the constitution, when the engagement part 32 engages with the first part to be engaged 21, the cap 3 covers the discharge port 22 of the container body part 2 so as to protect from an impact from the outside. Meanwhile, when the engagement part 32 engages with the second part to be engaged 24, the cap 3 projects over the bottom part of the container body part 2, then, the cap 3 is usable as a grip for the toner container 1. Accordingly, the grip part formed on the bottom part of the toner container in the conventional manner is eliminated, then, the toner capacity can be increased more than that of the conventional toner container.
