FOAMED BOX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed container capable of sufficiently holding some stored items at the time of shipment and transportation. SOLUTION: The foamed container 1 is constituted of a container body 2 for use in storing some stored items such as a bunch of asparagus 100 or the like and a lid member 3 installed at an opening formed at the container body 2. A wall 31 of the lid member 3 is formed with a slant surface 32 protruded inwardly from its inner surface, the slant surface 32 is formed with an abutment part 33 abutted against the bunch of asparagus 100 and a resilient part 34 for biasing the abutment part 33 inwardly. The abutment part 33 is formed to protrude inwardly from the inner surface of the slant surface 32 and the resilient part 34 is formed at the base end of the abutment part 33. When the abutment part 33 is abutted against the bunch of asparagus 100, the resilient part is resiliently deformed like a leaf spring to bias the abutment part 33 inwardly.
