WIRELESS COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND MANAGEMENT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus effectively using a communication band and reducing power consumption as the entire system, and also to provide a management device. SOLUTION: Each node classifies the self-node, in accordance with the role of the self-node, into either a non-intermittent operation node that can receive data of a short preamble by continuously performing an operation for detecting wireless communication radio waves or an intermittent operation node that can receive only data of a long preamble even though reducing power consumption by performing an operation for detecting the wireless communication radio waves in each intermittent operation period. A sink node 100 having many opportunities to receive data and nodes 101 to 103 for performing relay processing are defined as a non-intermittent operation node so that they receive the data a short preamble to thereby attempt to effectively use a communication band, and the other nodes 104 to 112 are defined as an intermittent operation node to reduce power consumption by an intermittent operation.
