Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound receiving device for performing appropriate sound control in such dangerous situations as intrusion by suspicious individuals. SOLUTION: A sound amplification device 10 includes: one or a plurality of microphones 11 which convert collected sounds to audio signals, and perform radio transmission; and a sound receiving device 13 which receives the audio signals transmitted from the microphones 11, and amplifies and outputs the sounds corresponding to the audio signals. The sound receiving device 13 is configured to, upon receipt of an emergency signal which is transmitted in response to the operation of an emergency switch 12 of the microphone 11, perform audio output control in an emergency mode.
