TYPESETTING METHOD AND TYPESETTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a typesetting method and a typesetting apparatus for easily carrying out an automatic typesetting process without any trouble even when display styles and frame layouts that compose sub assemblies are different for each product. SOLUTION: The typesetting method includes: a step for a computer to adjust the sub assembly layouts for allotting a plurality of related information for the product according to frame setting files for the sub assembly setting files; a step for allotting the related information for the product which is the subject to be allotted to respective subordinate frames for the sub assembly layouts that respectively correspond to the layout adjusted sub assembly; a step for determining whether or not a substitution record for which the specified related information and a class for the product that is allotted in the allotting step is registered to a substitution table by referring to the substitution table; and a step for carrying out the allotting based on a display style that is made to correspond to the substitution record when the data for the sub assembly layout is allotted if registered.
