INSTALLATION METHOD FOR ROOF MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method for a roof material capable of imparting wind-resistant performance by maintaining installation strengths of an accessory roof tile and a foundation roof tile, and capable of enhancing an appearance of a roof. SOLUTION: Each accessory roof tile is installed in a one end part on a roof face, and each foundation roof tile is installed to overlap an end edge in a side not formed with a tongue of the foundation roof tile onto a tongue of the accessory roof tile. The plurality of foundation roof tiles is sequentially installed by installing the other foundation roof tiles to overlap the end edges in the side not formed with the tongue of the other foundation roof tile onto the tongue of the foundation roof tile installed on the roof face. A prescribed width of space is secured between the foundation roof tile nearest to the accessory roof tile installed in the other end part on the roof face and the accessory roof tile. A regulation roof tile 5 having a width W2 same to the prescribed width is installed, between the accessory roof tile and the foundation roof tile, to overlap both end edges respectively onto the tongue of the accessory roof tile and the tongue of the foundation roof tile.
