EXTERNAL PREPARATION FOR SKIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for skin, stable and excellent in an effect of providing the skin with a firm feeling after use, and an external preparation for skin excellent in adhesion feeling to the skin without making the skin greasy in addition to stability and the effect of providing the skin with a firm feeling after use. SOLUTION: The external preparation for skin containing a finely dispersed wax composition in which a wax is finely dispersed in an aqueous dispersion medium in a solid-semisolid state is provided. The finely dispersed wax composition contains a wax that is in a solid to semi-solid state at ordinary temperature, a nonionic surfactant, an aqueous dispersion medium, an ionic water soluble thickener, and if needed, a silicone oil and/or a fluorine-based oil that is in a liquid state at ordinary temperature. In the composition, the mass ratio of the nonionic surfactant/the wax is ≥1.0, the particle size of the finely dispersed wax is ≤500 nm and an ionic surfactant is not substantially included in the preparation.
