Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator being reduced in weight by using resin components, having a structure for preventing a gas discharge hole from being melted during operation, and being stable in output performance. SOLUTION: A metal ring member 40 is embedded in a housing circumferential wall 12b formed of a resin and its center hole 40 is the gas discharge hole. When high temperature gas generated in a combustion chamber 22 is discharged during operation, the gas discharge hole 40 receives great thermal influence, but the ring member 40 is made of metal with high heat resistance so that it is hardly thermally affected.
