PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher capable of appropriately holding even a dish, a tray for instance configured in a relatively long length on a rack, and effectively washing it. SOLUTION: The dishwasher 1 for washing dishes, the tray 2 for instance, by supplying washing water into a washing chamber 10 includes: a rack 6 installed inside the washing chamber 10; and a pair of holding members 32, 32 provided on both ends on the inner side of the rack 6. Each of the holding members 32, 32 includes a holding groove 33 with which the tray 2 is engaged so that the tray 2 is held in an erected state of being inclined at a prescribed angle, and a support part 34 projected to the inside of the rack 6 from the edge part of the holding groove 33 on the side where the tray 2 is inclined.
