CELL SEPARATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell separator for recovering cells in a sound state while separating the cells in high accuracy. SOLUTION: The cell separator 1 includes a channel 6 for making a cell suspension flow which contains a plurality of kinds of cells having different dielectrophoretic characteristics, electrodes 4 arranged in an intermediate position in a flow direction in the channel 6, a voltage supply unit 5 for applying a voltage to the electrodes 4 so as to generate a non-uniform electric field changing a potential frequency according to a distance from the electrodes 4, and an insulating member 3 that covers the electrodes 4 and are composed of an electrical insulating material having holes with diameter dimensions smaller than those of cells.
