Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device producing effectively small operation sound levels more than conventional one, in particular. SOLUTION: The input device includes a rubber stem 2, and a movable contact 8 deformable when pushed by the rubber stem 2. The rubber stem 2 is formed of a rubber material either of a fluoro-rubber, a crosslinked fluoro-rubber, a fluoro-silicone rubber and a low rebound silicone rubber. The rubber materials each show a loss coefficient Tanδ higher than a loss coefficient Tanδ of a silicone rubber (the example of comparison), e.g., to exhibit high effects for lowering sound levels. Since the rubber stem 2 is formed of the fluoro-rubber, the crosslinked fluoro-rubber, the fluoro-silicone rubber or the low rebound silicone rubber, the input device having small operation sound levels is manufactured.
