Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color resist for a color filter excellent in flowability and temporal storage stability, in which thickening or deterioration of a contrast ratio due to time passage is suppressed, and a color filter with a high contrast ratio. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the color resist includes a process for manufacturing a pigment dispersion by mixing a pigment composition including a green organic pigment including zinc halide phthalocyanine pigment, and a transparent resin or an organic solvent, and a pigment dispersion formed by wet-dispersing a yellow organic pigment in the transparent resin and the organic solvent, and wet-dispersing the mixture using a media type wet-disperser, and a process for mixing the acquired pigment dispersion C with a light polymerizable monomer.
