Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure an eccentricity and deflection angle state of a connection part by manual rotation of a rotary shaft, without having to place a rotary machine in a fixed speed rotation state, and to adjust it accurately and efficiently. SOLUTION: The rotary shaft connection joint adjustment support device for adjusting the connection state of a connection joint for connecting two rotary shafts includes: a laser displacement gage 102 mounted on the rotary shaft, and arranged oppositely to the end face of the rotary shaft, for measuring a distance to a facing part of the end face; and an X-Y stage 103 for moving the laser displacement gauge 102 substantially in parallel with the end face, while being faced to the end face. The X-Y stage 103 is mounted, either on a groove formed on the side face outer circumference of the rotary shaft or on the side face of the rotary shaft, or on the end face of a tool mounted on the groove.
