Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gas-insulated switchgear that suppresses a switching surge through a simple configuration without enlarging a closed vessel. SOLUTION: When a switching surge is produced due to switching and is propagated to a potential transformer 6 through a high-voltage circuit conductor 9 and a breaker 5. The switching surge is propagated to the potential transformer 6 through a steep-wave surge suppressor provided in a movable contactor 14 of the breaker 5. The steep-wave surge suppressor shows a frequency characteristic, becomes a resistance component against the steep-wave surge, and the surge voltage to be applied to the potential transformer 6 is divided.
