PLUGGABLE CONNECTOR HAVING DIFFERENTIAL PAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pluggable connector which is constructed to reduce a negative effect of an electromagnetic coupling and operates in higher speed, and from which a desired performance is obtained. SOLUTION: The pluggable connector includes a housing having an inner face to demarcate a housing hold chamber. The housing hold chamber extends along a center axis up to its opening. The opening is established to have dimensions and a shape to be engaged with a mating connector moving along the center axis. The connector includes a plug insert arranged in the housing hold chamber. The plug insert extends along the center axis and forms a contact housing chamber which extends in parallel with the center axis. The plug insert includes an outer face separated from the inner face of the housing by a gap. The connector includes a differential pair. Each of differential pairs includes two contacts extending mutually in parallel along the contact plane of the differential pair in the corresponding contact housing chamber.
