ORDERING SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ordering system and method, capable of improving convenience by reducing the burden on an orderer side, and selecting a commodity matched to the orderer. SOLUTION: In the ordering system 10, an ordering-side terminal 12 includes an input means 12A for input of orderer ID information and setting place information including information for the height, width or depth of a setting place for a commodity to be ordered, and an ordering-side transmitting means 12B which transmits the input information to an order receiving-side terminal 14. The order receiving-side terminal 14 of the ordering system 10 includes: a storage means 14A which stores commodity information including a commodity number and commodity dimensional information that is information for the height, width or depth of a commodity; an order receiving-side receiving means 14B which receives information from the ordering-side terminal 12; a specification means 14C which searches commodity dimensional information matched or close to the received setting place information from the storage means 14A and specifies commodity information including this commodity dimension information; and an order receiving-side transmitting means 14F which transmits the specified commodity information to a transmitting destination of the orderer ID information.
