Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which the number of components is reduced, a manufacture process is simplified, and the manufacture is inexpensive without using a conventional mold housing even when utilizing a cold cathode fluorescent lamp. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device including a liquid crystal display panel and a backlight disposed on the back surface of the liquid crystal display panel, the backlight includes a plurality of cold cathode fluorescent lamps CCFL, a circuit board CB disposed on both end sides of the lamps, a plurality of metal fittings MF provided on the circuit board for supporting electrodes provided on both end parts of the lamp and supplying power to the lamp, and a side mold for covering the circuit board. On the inner side of the side mold, a partition wall PW for covering the metal electrode and the electrode of the lamp supported by the metal fitting is provided corresponding to each metal electrode MF.
