STAFF GAUGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staff gauge which can be cleaned simply without having to dismantle the staff gauge itself. SOLUTION: This staff gauge includes plate materials 3a, 3b, 3c dividing in the longitudinal direction, with the long-length staff gauge having a water level measuring scale attached thereto; a first cleaning brush 6a, arranged on the rear side of another plate material 3b so as to face to the front face of the plate material 3a; a second cleaning brush 6b, arranged on the rear side of another plate material 3c so as to face to the front face of the plate material 3b; and a wire 25, mounted in order to move the plate material 3a, while the first cleaning brush 6a is brought into contact with the front face of the plate material 3b, or in order to move the plate material 3a upward so as to move the plate material 3b, while the second cleaning brush 6b is brought into contact with the front face of the plate material 3c.
