Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master ball which confirms the precision of a flaw detector of detecting the internal flaw of a sphere and easily obtains the position and size of the internal flaw of a spherical body to be inspected. SOLUTION: In the master ball which confirms the precision of an inspection device in detecting the material flaw produced in a sphere such as a ceramics sphere or a glass sphere by the flaw detector of detecting the internal flaw of the sphere and is used as the standard of the position and size of the internal flaw of a spherical body to be inspected, a minute spherical body 2 consisting of a metal material is embedded in a master ball spherical body 1 including a ceramics material at a depth being 3.5-50% of a sphere diameter from the surface of the spherical body.
