Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a hollow single crystal from the melt of a raw material having inferior wettability to a crucible. SOLUTION: The melt 8 of the raw material 7 held inside the crucible 11 having a cylindrical shape with a plugged bottom and a through-hole 11b penetrating from the inside of the cylindrical shape to outside at the plugged bottom is leaked out of the through-hole 11b. A pulling-down operation is performed in a state that a shape controlling rod 12 having a smaller outer shape than the inner shape of the through-hole 11b is intercalated. The melt 8 is sent toward a seed touch surface by operating the shape controlling rod 12 for seed touching. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
