Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the center of gravity of a machine and to improve stability during traveling. SOLUTION: The field-traveling apparatus 1 includes a machine frame 2 formed in a gate shape striding over the line of field crops C planted on a field, a pair of crawlers 3 arranged on both sides of the machine frame 2 and a pair of drive units 4 for supplying drive force to each crawler 3. Each drive unit 4 is arranged in an inner circumference space K of a crawler belt 17 in the crawler 3 to be driven. A drive wheel 16 for driving the crawler belt 17 is disposed to form the top of an orbit of the crawler belt 17. The drive wheel 16 and the drive unit 4 arranged in the inner circumference space K of the crawler belt 17 are mounted integrally and adjustably in the vertical position on the side of the machine frame 2.
