Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a piezoelectric element connected to a driving member from breaking down by the pressure applied to the driving member, to prevent a driver from getting complex and growing in size due to a mechanism to protect the piezoelectric element in the driver employing the piezoelectric element by an inertial driving method. SOLUTION: The driver is constituted of a driving member with a hollow hole which is a cylindrical piezoelectric element, a retaining member fixed at one end of the driving member, two pieces of engaging members fitted to another end of the driving member, and a moving member passing through the hollow hole of the driving member. The driving member is made to rapidly contract, after being extended in the condition that the moving member is nipped by the engaging member; and accordingly, the moving member is moved in the direction opposite to the moving direction of the driving member.
