Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric machine for vehicles that efficiently cools commutators without adding any component for cooling the commutators. SOLUTION: An AC generator for vehicles includes: a rotor 5 where a shaft 9 to which a rotor magnetic pole 6 is fixed is rotatably supported by a bearing, a fan 15 that is attached to the rotor 5 and generates cooling air by rotation of the rotor 5, a stator 1 that includes a stator coil 3 and is disposed on the periphery of the rotor 5, an R bracket 11 supporting the bearing and the stator 1 and forming a path of cooling air generated by the fan 15, the commutator 25 for commutating power generated from the rotor 5, a conductor for electrically connecting the stator coil 3 to the commutator 25, and a connection component 27 for forming the periphery of the conductor from an insulation material.
