MOBILE UNIT AND METHOD USED THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a call origination request of a user from being processed in a cell of a class different from a cell of a call recognized by the user. SOLUTION: A mobile unit includes a communication section for performing radio communication with a base station; a radio communication control section for controlling the radio communication with the base station by determining the class of a ranging cell from a radio signal received from the base station; and a user interface control section for determining the class of the ranging cell from a notification signal received from the radio communication control section and indicating a result of the determination to a user. In response to a call originating request from the user, a call-originating request message is reported from the user interface control section to the radio communication control section. The call-originating request message includes an indicator that indicates the class of the ranging cell determined by the user interface control section. According to a combination of the class of the ranging cell indicated by the indicator and the class of the ranging cell determined by the radio communication control section, the radio communication control section controls whether to permit call origination by the user.
