INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management system and an information management method that retrieves a moving trajectory or image information desired by a user even if the user does not clearly remember a specific destination by searching for candidates of the moving trajectory or image information based on a keyword such as the name of a place or sightseeing spot. SOLUTION: The information management system includes: a movement management server 3 for sequentially recording position information and time information detected by a mobile body; a search front-end server 8 for receiving a search keyword from a user; an ontology server 10 for determining whether the search keyword belongs to a feature attribute or to a non-feature attribute, and if the search keyword belongs to the non-feature attribute, generating a new keyword belonging to the feature attribute from the search keyword; and a geographic information server 11 for retrieving information on geographic location. The position information and time information about the mobile body corresponding to the search keyword is retrieved by referring to the information on location retrieved by the geographic information server and the position information recorded in the movement management server.
